Life more abundant and free. . .is it real?
Of course. But it requires that we leave behind all that would slow us down by
entanglement.
The things that entangle us are the events and personalities that manipulate the
emotions. They are circumstances and behaviors of others that are either unfair or
seriously disturbing.
Soldier of the Cross, when you were born again, you became a member of a Royal
Race. You became an Adopted Son. You left the kingdom of darkness and entered
the Kingdom of Light.
Why is it so tempting to turn around and deal with things that ought to be left
alone?
Because there is a gravitational pull to the flesh, of all the things Heaven counts as
unimportant.
Oh, please listen to me.
I have had quite a day. I have been screamed at, I have presented before 2,000
listeners, and as a lawyer, I have argued before a judge, not knowing the result.
But I have a Heavenly Father Who loves me. Jesus loved me enough to die for
me. The precious indwelling Holy Spirit leads and sheds Light, revealing the Lover
of my Soul.
What is most important?
Take inventory of your priorities. Make sure they line up with God's Word.
Then, look up and move on!
