Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Often, the ones you help the most will turn around and hurt you.
It is a simple fact, and it will be that way until He comes for us.
What do we do with that? Nothing. We must be careful not to build defenses or
become ultra cautious.
Conversly, we never know when those who seem so opposed to what we are
doing will bend with His touch on the heart.
What is the bottom line? It is serving the King without evaluating the results.
Hallelujah, there are many who are what they seem and we have deep sweet
fellowhip that will not be betrayed. While it is good to be wise and learn from
mistakes, we must stay away from the thinking that if this one has left or has spoken
against us, we must have made a mistake.
The Lord never said we would learn to avoid heartache.
So, we follow Him through the fire and through the flood.
And when we stand before Him, what we will want is not to know we protected
ourselves, but to know we obeyed.
