Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

The Lord will provide what is needed at the time of the need and not before.
Once in a rare while, the provision is displayed early, usually as a witness to the lost who are watching. But for the most part, the Lord has designed things so that we must wait for His time.
His time is never satisfactory to the insecure flesh.
The flesh hates faith, hates to wait, and hates anything that interferes with having everything lined up. The flesh wants a guarantee against faith.
Soldier, remember that the flesh will cease to exist either at death, or when Jesus comes. It struggles and flaps against all that would cause it to submit.
It struggles mostly against the Cross.
Those who take up the Cross to follow Him must learn the wisdom of waiting until the Lord reveals the next move. He never does it to assuage the flesh's anxious rash - only when the Soldier needs to make the move or decision.
Hundreds of books have been written on this subject - how to discern the Will of God. . .
That is foolish. He is not illusive and He is not timid.
When He speaks, even the deaf hear clearly.
