False fire is absolutely not acceptable because false fire is not God's way.
He does not care about appearances or making the minimum standard of acceptability with regard to a church meeting. Rather, He is interested in meeting His Own!
If there is availability and the speaker will wait for the Lord, He will come in the Power and anointing of the Holy Spirit and He will visit with and in a divine fire. Those who have met Him have no trouble recognizing Him, but the problem is, very, very few pastors will wait for the Lord.
Oh pastor, if you are really to be a Soldier of the Cross, stand before the sheep and wait! Wait for Jesus. He will bring a theme, and even if it is the theme you have been considering and praying about all week, when He is allowed to speak, He will bring forth things that even you have never heard, at least in the way they are presented.
The great lack in the Church today is prayer, and the result of that is false fire.
Be bold enough to stand in front without deciding ahead of time what will be said. Be preparing your heart all week - be in the Word and be before Him, but be assured:
if you are willing and want to hear Him yourself, divine fire will fall, and you will not have a sense of having done poorly or well.
You will know you have heard from and been challenged by the Living God!
