Do not give
up on the lost one so dear to your heart. The human perception cannot reach into the deepest recesses of another - only the Lord can do that. There is a good reason for that. The conversion is public, but the process is often private. If we could see and know what is going on, we would be tempted to go in and try to hurry things along for our own satisfaction and we would really muddle things up. Our job is not to shoot at the feet of the one who seems to be shuffling in the wrong direction. Our job is to pray, to walk before the living God, and to press on to see and know Jesus |
