Listen to me, Soldier
of the Cross: Every word out of your mouth has an impact. Are you doubting the Lord? Keep it to yourself until you are with a sterling, mature Believer who will keep things quiet and pray with and for you. Is there any chance you are a person who needs to tell all the ones close to you the same thing? Consider carefully whether you are speaking for your own benefit, or because the listener either is edified or will actually pray about the issue. As a rule, the human race spews and blithers. Christians are the same, particularly women. Conversely, speak as the Spirit moves, no matter what the cost. James was right. The tongue is the rudder that moves the tiny ship. I see clearly that a man's life is the total of his thoughts. What does the Bible say? We must account for every word. |
