The thing that
God is doing , He is doing forever.
He wants to make a quality product,
and He is reproducing His own life in you and don't you forget
it!
Disappointment is not a godly quality,
and we are not allowed. We tend to make allowances because we
sympathize with the one who does not have the thing he so wanted.
But God sees beyond that and knows what is best.
When I learned to repair bassoons,
the man who took me as an apprentice had taken several others
in his career. All of them had gotten frustrated when he pointed
out things that needed to be done and eventually he cooled off
on taking apprentices.
But I loved it. That is, I always
felt foolish, but I knew he could see what I could not see and
I also knew he was the best. He was right. And although he never
said it, I also knew that each time he corrected me, if I pressed
into the correction, I would see.
I wanted to see.
And I still want to see.
Now, I understand the Lord works
that way. The Great Surgeon who is the Lover of my Soul is deeply
committed to heaven's quality.
Lord Jesus.
there is nowhere to go but to You. Please teach me to submit
to you and to love your correction.
Bring it on, oh Master!!
