Daily Devotionals by Ardith Keef

Don't you find your thoughts more difficult to control at night?
We have an enemy who loves darkness and always attacks the wounded or weak. for that reason, it is important to predetermine that when the evil one comes at us with thoughts that ring with the sound of our own voices in our heads, we will not be moved.
Take an opposite physical action. Get up if you are laying, thinking in the dark. Those thoughts must be taken captive and led away!
You will find that praying outloud for others or singing or reading the Word outloud will often dispel the patterns that are building up to a fretting or worrying level.
I have been converted. Therefore, everything is different. I will not lay passively at night and loan out my soul to be invaded by the virus of evaluating things by sight.
Are you a Soldier of the Cross? Me too.
In the dark, just as in the light, I am still the Clay, and He is still the Potter!
