In His
grace, the Lord has designed things so that we could not see
the future or the dimension of what we call the "unseen". Because of love. Because the best thing for us is to learn to obey - to do things because He has said to do them, and to think things because He has said to think them. If there were a better way to prepare us for eternity, He would have done it. Now, it makes the flesh insecure, but when we get to heaven, we will see and understand that our experience of faith was the way to see reality more clearly than the physical things around us. There must be a laying down of the temporal purposes and defenses, and a total taking up of the agenda that most around us can't see. The Soldier of the Cross may not just do it better. The Soldier of the Cross must leave it behind and do it his way! |
