It is easy to
forget the Lord is tender and compassionate beyond our comprehension. When the Bible talks about His collecting our tears in a bottle, we can only glean a tiny portion of significance from the passage. That is because our own ability to understand is limited and our capacity to show tenderness is dwarfed compared to His. But it certainly is comforting to know and to think of often. Those who talk to Him about His nature tend to hold Him more precious than those who never mention it to Him. Imagine - there really is One who tenderly listens to each word, understands what can't be said, and longs to bless and fill you! What an amazing variety of Names He has, yet they all reflect qualities and attributes beyond any mere human. And what's more, He is waiting for a heart who will let Him do anything He wants, and just think; what He wants is to make you like Him! |
