       You must deal directly with the Lord if there is rebellion in your life.
     This does not involve any guess work - if there is rebellion, the believer knows it! It is possible to be deceived  and think you are right, especially if there is ignorance of the teaching in the Word of God. But rebellion is another matter.
    You know of course, the Bible tells us rebellion is "as the sin of witchcraft."  That means rebellion opens the door to demonic activity in a believer's life.
     Demonic play can manifest itself in the form of depression, bizarre temper fits, odd illnesses and hyperspirituality.
     You don't have to guess.
     If you have a sharp tongue and have spoken inappropriately to your husband, your pastor or anyone with God's authority, you'd better repent now and turn into the light.
     If you harbor a secret sin that you know about, you are in rebellion.
     If you are not having quiet times and you have been taught to meet with the Lord, you are in rebellion.
     If you know you should discipline your children but you are just "too tired", you are in rebellion.
     If you make excuses when corrected, you are in rebellion.
     If you are passive in any way, you are in rebellion.
     The Lord is eager to release each of His children, and it is not complicated. A good clean talk with Him will clear things up, and the indwelling Holy Spirit will give moment-by-moment power to walk in obedience.
     Don't put off until tomorrow what should be done today - you might be hit by a truck in the morning!
