View past Devotional.| Why
is it so hard to give up what others think? The difficulty gives us a clue concerning its value! According to the Bible, it is one of the most desirable qualities a soldier can want, and we know He desires it for us. Apparently, there is none who can perceive correctly. My! What a thought. If that is true, we must value the opinion of the only One who correctly perceives. We are pulled into what others think of us in the same way our bodies are pulled down by gravity. Both are marked for death, and both will decay. I am to care about my life before others, but as long as I live or until Jesus catches me up to meet Him in the air, He will continue training me that there is only One whose approval is right, and forever. |
