The Christian world  seems to be more endowed with busybodies than the rest of humanity!
Yes, there are certain principles and Biblical truths that we live by. But there is much too much interpreting the lives and activities of others and deciding what they should do.
Do you know that many of the precious saints who have been used by God to open the way for the gospel were discouraged from doing so by numbers of Christians? Incredible, isn't it?
Just before one of the most important trips our missions supporters ever took, a man who had been attending the church for two years passed out copies of an article at the men's meeting. He asked the men to have all their wives read it, and it was an article explaining no missionary call to other countries could not be from God!
Another time, a man made rounds to visit several of the women who were visiting missionaries in Africa. The women planned to the trip with the intention of praying and singing with them, and the misguided brother tried to persuade them that no missionary needed a visit - they just needed the money!
He had no knowledge of or experience with missions, yet he found himself qualified to discourage things that were most definitely led of the Spirit.
The Bible is full of such examples, and those who would press back God's work are always those who have a dribble of knowledge, but no recognition of His presence.
While we must be ministers of grace, we also must move on. God will take care of those who try to catch the ark!
