Dear Friend,

We had a decent wind storm last week and had no power for a couple of days. Bill always makes waffles for the university students on Friday mornings, and they start trickling in about 8:00 and leave at 10 or so. The university was on the other side of town, and while we had no power, the dorms were fine. When I got up, I wondered what would happen when the kids came, because we had no way to make waffles. I came downstairs, and Bill had a camping stove set up on the kitchen counter, and he was making waffles on a camping waffle iron! Can you believe that? We had a ball. He is now making jalapeno/cheddar waffles in addition to the more traditional ones.

I haven't written in a few weeks because we have been trying to get the new site up. He has gotten it up, and although it is a work in progress, the new shirts are all there for you to see.
