It is so cold and windy here tonight, I thought I would freeze my ears off. I played two Nutcracker performances today and the car was only a block away. I bought myself some great fake fur earmuffs, then forgot to take them with me!
This has been a wild few days. The Portland Symphony does 13 Christmas concerts and then there are tons of other Christmas concerts. I will need the Siberia trip just to recover from Christmas!

The other thing that has happened this year is that the family law business is exploding. Usually at Christmas things slow down because people just want to get through the holidays without rancor. Boy, not this year! I can't believe the rate at which people are falling apart. I treat my clients well and give them giant chocolate truffles. My only real luxury is fresh flowers in the office year round. Right now the florist gave me a Christmas arrangement with a ton of holly around it.

I just need to wrap my presents and I am done - I have to do about 18 stockings this year. I need some creative ideas for men. I have just about run out!
