I am back from Siberia and Ukraine. Boy, oh boy, was it ever cold. When I got off the plane in Siberia it was 38 below zero! I was busy with meetings and was able to visit one of the villages I had visited seventeen years ago. There was a meeting in one of the homes and a huge spread afterward. One of the treats was a gorgeous looking cake that tasted just like Mentholatum! I got the information second hand because I am not eating treats (as you already know.)

I had one day in Ukraine. The pastor and another man from the Ukrainian church took an all-night train to meet me in Moscow and then we flew to Kharkov. After a wild ride through the city, we arrived at two in the morning and then I worked for an hour or so. After three hours of sleep, we drove two hours to a village where I was expected. That was with old friends and we had a great time. Then we hustled back to the city where I spoke in another meeting until bedtime.

I left the next day and flew to Vienna and stayed a night to recover a little. I had hoped to hear the philharmonic, but my plane was delayed by three hours, so that didn't work out. In the morning I got up early and had the breakfast of a lifetime. Every kind of sausage under the sun. I am so glad I did not have the Mentholatum cake, because I would have been to guilty for the sausages.

The plane was an hour late leaving Vienna and I had to change terminals in Paris. That was a project! The huge Air France plane waited 45 minutes for me to clear all of the security. I was amazed. And, I am home.

When I arrived, Bill told me the new shirts are coming in, and here is one I thought you would love. (He has the others on the new site.) It is "Solar System" and it is absolutely fantastic:
